VMS 2021 May Be Postponed | Exhibition Vietnam

The Vietnam Motor Show is a big show floor for automobile manufacturers in Vietnam. However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Motor Show 2021 (VMS 2021) may be postponed and is expected to be moved to next year.

This will be the 2nd year in a row Expo is facing "schedule delayed" . It is known that VMS 2020 faced phase 2 of anti-epidemic, so it was forced to cancel the entire organizational plan of that year. Entering this year, Vietnam Motor Show 2021 is expected to be held at the end of October 2021 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and genuine Vietnamese auto importers (VIVA).

But according to recent information, the Vietnam Motor Show 2021 may be postponed after 2020 due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. To comply with the epidemic prevention requirements from the Government, for public health safety. The Organizing Committee is expected to move the exhibition date to the end of November this year or December, but with the prolonged distance, these two times are still not very positive.

Currently, there is no official announcement, but members of VAMA and VIVA discussed many options to organize VMS 2021 before making the decision to cancel this year's exhibition altogether and move it to an appropriate time of 2022. This is really a pity for auto manufacturers, visitors and VMS lovers.

Once held recently in 2019, the exhibition took place with the participation of 15 automotive brand names, including: Audi, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Volvo, Volkswagen. Coming to the exhibition, you not only see luxury cars - genuine but also experience the exhibition stands displaying auxiliary technology products, spare parts, accessories, customer care services, insurance, financial support services, ect... enriching the exhibition.

In the past two years, due to the impact of the epidemic, many new car models have missed their launch date to the Vietnamese auto market. However, some automakers still launch new models online to ensure the PR time and sales period at the end of this year.
