Trade Fair VIMEXPO 2021 | Exhibition Vietnam

International Exhibition of Industrial 2nd Processing Support and Fabrication Vietnam (VIMEXPO 2021) scheduled to be held three days from the end of October this year, namely from 27 - 29.10.2021 at the ICE Hanoi International Exhibition Center. The exhibition is chaired by the Center for Industry Development Support - Industry Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to the plan, VIMEXPO 2021 has a display scale of 7,000 square meters with about 300 exhibition booths and is expected to attract up to 20,000 visitors. This exhibition will increase opportunities for Vietnam's Supporting Industry to integrate and continue to thrive. Currently, Vietnam has also joined and signed the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and many other Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Therefore, participating in exhibitions is also a bridge for businesses in the industry to support the exchange of experiences as well as offer many effective product introduction solutions,...

Industry support (SI) is the industries producing raw materials, accessories, spare parts and accessories semi-finished products to supply the industry production, processing and assembly of finished products as means of production or consumer products. Currently, the supporting industry is developing and plays an important role in the supply, seeing this, Vietnam has set out many policies to promote the development of this supporting industry.

Specifically, according to Decree No. 111/2015/ND-CP on the development of supporting industries for 6 main industries: mechanical engineering, automobiles, electronics, textiles, footwear, and high-tech industry. In 2017, the Government approved the Decision No. 68 on the program of industrial development support period from 2016 to 2025, focusing on three areas typically spare parts, textile - footwear and industrial high tech. And Resolution 115 (2020) sets a target that by 2025, there will be about 1,000 enterprises capable of directly supplying assembly enterprises and multinational corporations in the territory of Vietnam.

In summary, Exhibition VIMEXPO is a place to exchange, learn and share the experience of many entrepreneurs in the country and internationally. Thus, the exhibition will be a place to bring more value to enterprises looking for partners, to go to new opportunities, new knowledge, new creations, ... Also, this is the most important event of Supporting Technology and Manufacturing Industry in Vietnam during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully this year, the event will go well to overcome difficulties in the past and promote sustainable development.
