Postpone the opening schedule of Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2021 due to the COVID-19 situation

In 2020 after the first epidemic, tourism was greatly affected, slipping without braking, making everything almost fall into a negative state, when the situation cooled down at the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2020 still organized but ensure safety during the epidemic season, with the participation of 300 businesses from 6 countries and more than 40 provinces and cities in the country to contribute to recreating the situation, restoring the tourism industry to bring new benefits safe relaxing trip for everyone, every home.
Entering 2021, this is the 9th year the fair has been held. I thought the situation was stable, so it is expected that this year, the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) will have more than 350 exhibition booths and 450 fairs registration units coming from different provinces and continue the success of previous years. The theme of VITM this year is "New normal, new opportunities" with the message: "Tourism industry with a proactive and positive posture will overcome difficulties to recover and develop".
However, according to the expected schedule, VITM will be held within 4 days from 5/5 to 8/5/2021, but near the start date, the COVID-19 epidemic situation also started to attack. The representative of Vietnam Tourism Fair has announced to postpone the opening date due to concerns about COVID-19, at the same time must comply with the distance and join hands in disease prevention, must win and repel COVID-19 brought about by the pandemic peaceful life for Vietnamese people as well as restoring the economy and industries, including tourism.
Thus, according to information, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) decided to postpone the organization to the beginning of June 2021. Hopefully, time slows down a bit, COVID-19 disappears faster so we don't have to delay any more stages.
